Founded in 2014 in Yardley, PA husband and wife Justin and Catherine Frederico set out to make a flavor and fragrance laboratory to provide service to the flavor and fragrance industry. The goal of the company was to create fragrances
and provide a one of a kind expert science experience to take care of customer’s manufacturing issues.
Catherine Frederico, Founder and President
Catherine is a fragrance aficionado and has worked since 2014 with clients to bring their flavor and fragrance ideas to life. She puts the goals of the clients first and foremost as client’s goals are met in fragrance creation and business. She obtained a B.S. in Business Administration and Mathematics and a master’s degree.
Justin Frederico Ph.D., Founder and Perfumer
Justin, with over 16 years of experience, is a skilled independent perfumer specializing in designing fragrances for products like perfumes, shampoos, and candles. His expertise extends to various industries, including fine fragrance, home and personal care, and laundry. Justin’s postdoctoral studies in natural product chemistry enrich his work, allowing him to blend scents that are not just pleasing but also therapeutic and environmentally sustainable. Understanding the chemical nuances of natural ingredients, he crafts high-quality, eco-friendly fragrances. With a background at IFF, Custom Essence, and Creative Accord, he co-founded Frederico Parfums, emphasizing essential oil and aroma chemical quality. He has a doctorate in synthetic organic chemistry specializing in natural products and a post doctorate from Columbia University, He is a member of The American Society of Perfumers and American Chemical Society.
He also has a rich experience managing a company spanning from manufacturing to sales. It is hard to have a problem he has not already faced. He has worked on numerous projects to setting up laboratories for ISO certification to solving many challenging production issues.
